VW Caddy III
What Was the Inspection About?
The ad already sounded promising: a 2015 Golf 7 R with 95,000 km, full service history, and factory options like DCC, leather interior, and virtual cockpit. When we arrived, the car delivered—clean inside and out, only a few small scratches on the bumper and door edges. Test drive? Smooth, tight, and fast. But I always dig deeper. I scanned the control units, reviewed repair invoices, and discovered there had been a minor accident three years prior—front-right corner, professionally repaired with original parts. The seller was open about it when asked, just hadn’t listed it. Thanks to my check, the buyer could move forward with full confidence—and used that info to shave 400 € off the price anyway.

My Thoughts on the Car
The Golf 7 R is a proper hot hatch. Refined, brutally fast when needed, and still comfortable enough for daily use. This example was in top condition, clearly cared for, and showed no signs of abuse. The accident was well repaired—panel gaps were perfect, no overspray, and suspension geometry checked out. It's rare to find a used performance car that doesn’t come with a story of tuning experiments or rough handling. This one had been driven enthusiastically but responsibly—a keeper for sure.
Pricing
The full inspection cost 90 €, as always—covering diagnostics, accident check, full road test, and purchase advice. It confirmed the quality of the vehicle and gave the buyer peace of mind before investing in a car north of 20,000 €. That’s exactly why my service exists: not just to spot problems, but also to validate great deals when they come along.
